About Project

Bay has had a long standing relationship with CHKD. Past projects include work done at their Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake Hospitals. Their Norfolk Hospital was a multifaceted project including new construction encompassing 350,000 square feet, and renovation to existing space of 160,000 square feet. The completed project created one of the most advanced critical care children’s hospitals on the Eastern Seaboard. In its work on the operating rooms, Bay Mechanical was required to install complex medical gas systems, and air handling systems of the most rigorous specifications.
